Understand the available launch mechanisms.
SOL bonding curves
The Solana SOL route creates a Pump.fun token and its bonding curve. The user pays the initial buy, network fees, protocol charges, and account rent. Metadata is uploaded before the wallet signs the launch.
TAO and SPL pairs
The custom-pair route creates a fixed-supply Token-2022 mint and then a Raydium CPMM pool. A valid Solana mint identifies the quote asset. Wrapped or bridged TAO on Solana is distinct from native TAO on Bittensor. Pool creation is a separate wallet transaction.
Native Bittensor
The Bittensor route pairs a fixed-supply community token with native TAO or a supported staking-receipt alpha token. The creator supplies the opening reserve and gas. LP tokens go to the burn address. Use a compatible EVM wallet and review the selected quote asset.
Recovery
If a transaction has already been submitted, check its confirmation state before starting another launch. The custom-pair route can recover a confirmed mint and continue to pool creation without minting a second token.
